Thoth

Thoth was the god of wisdom and magic. He was the scribe of the gods and the inventor of writing. He was worshiped as ibis-headed. Thoth, the moon god, was also the god of time because the phases of the moon were used to calculate the months.

"I am Thoth (the moon), who brings Maat (true order), and heals the Sacred Eye." As the moon he helped rule time, as a magician he knew the secrets of healing. And as lord of wisdom, he was associated with Maat (administrator of justice). Maat wears in her headdress a lone feather, which embodies the delicate balance between order and chaos in the universe and in human souls.
