Khirbet. Rumeh "elevation" was a small village about 15 miles W of the Sea of Galilee and about 6 miles SE of Nazareth. It is mentioned in the Bible as the birthplace of Pedaiah, father of Zebuda (wife of Josiah and mother of Jehoiakim). in later Jewish sources it was called Naim, were Jesus had healed the widow's son (Lk 7:11-14).

There have been ruins of a medieval church found there and in earlier building, with an uncertain origin. There are also rock-cut tombs around the village from the period of the second Temple.

Some believe it is the same as Arumah (Judg 9:41), in the neighborhood of Shechem. Others identify it with Khirbet Rumeh, six miles N of Nazareth.
