1 Samuel 7:16 - And he went from year to year in circuit to Bethel, and Gilgal, and Mizpeh, and judged Israel in all those places.
1 Samuel 7:15-17 "And Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life. And he went from year to year in circuit to Bethel, and Gilgal, and Mizpeh, and judged Israel in all those places. And his return [was] to Ramah; for there [was] his house; and there he judged Israel; and there he built an altar unto the LORD.

distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is
departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor
by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known
unto me what I shall do.

done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy
God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have
established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.

return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and
the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.

and poured [it] out before the LORD, and fasted on that day, and
said there, We have sinned against the LORD. And Samuel
judged the children of Israel in Mizpeh.

they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel
standing [as] appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the
messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.

the portion which I gave thee, of which I said unto thee, Set it by
thee.

11:7 - And he took a yoke of oxen, and hewed them in pieces,
and sent [them] throughout all the coasts of Israel by the hands of
messengers, saying, Whosoever cometh not forth after Saul and after
Samuel, so shall it be done unto his oxen. And the
fear of the LORD fell on the people, and they came out with one
consent.

ye him whom the LORD hath chosen, that [there is] none like him
among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save
the king.

delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.

16:1 - And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long
wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning
over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to
Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his
sons.
