There were many people that crossed paths with Jesus Christ. Very few if any realized who he actually was, and it was not until just before his final week that he revealed who he truly was to his disciples. Throughout his ministry he not only met many people, people that are mentioned in the Bible, yet he also spoke often about people that were mentioned in the Scriptures. He spoke about Adam and Eve, and Noah and the flood, and Jonah, and Moses, and many others in the ancient Hebrew Scriptures. Jesus was very familiar with people. Within the life of Christ and in the few short years that he was here he raised up 12 disciples, he did many miracles in front of these people, he healed the sick, he raised the dead, he fed the hungry and they all saw him performing his miracles. He did a lot of walking, he traveled the land and met many people along the way. He journeyed to Judea and Jerusalem more than a few times, he also visited Samaria, he traveled to the Jordan Valley and was baptized in the Jordan River. He journeyed through Galilee and up near the border of Lebanon at Mount Hermon, and the city of Caesarea Philippi where he asked his disciples "whom do men say that I am?" the names of many of these people are recorded in the Bible, and we have become so familiar with them. Names like Joseph and Mary, John the Baptist, Zacharias and Elizabeth, Peter James and John, Nicodemus, Pontius Pilate, and many others, these are the people mentioned in the Bible. There were also many others who met Jesus who are not mentioned.
