The beautiful multicolored curtain was called the door.
It was 10 cubits long x 10 cubits wide with 5 pillars.

The Door of the Tabernacle (Ex 26:36-37)

Ex 26:36-37 "You shall make a screen for the door of the tabernacle, woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen, made by a weaver. And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold; their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them."

Only the priests (sons of Aaron) could enter into the holy place and minister within the tabernacle structure itself. Of course he must wash his hands and feet at the laver before entering. The beautiful skillfully wrought curtain which was called the door revealed the holiness of God as seen by the cherubim that were embroidered throughout the curtain.

- The door of the tabernacle was 10 cubits long x 10 cubits wide (The entrance gate was 20 x 5 cubits, and the veil was 10 cubits square, it is very interesting that all three entrances totalled 100 cubits each.)

- It had 5 pillars (acacia wood overlaid with gold) with their 5 bronze sockets:

Ps 97:2 Clouds and darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

- Each pillar had a capital (crown) of gold:

- Upon these 5 pillars there were gold rings for the screen. The screen was made of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine linen thread, the work of a weaver (skillfully wrought with needles)

Ps 139:15 My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
