Band of the Ephod
Sash (Heb. 'abnet, a "belt"). The sash, or band, was of the same material as
the ephod and was used to bind the ephod firmly to the body:
Exod 28:8 "And the intricately woven band of the ephod, which is on it, shall
be of the same workmanship, made of gold blue purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen."
